“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”
What do you want to change in the world? AND What do you need to change in you which will then show up as that change out there? Neither are easy questions, but are worth considering.
So many people feel overwhelmed by conditions in the world and think they can not affect them. They are stuck with judging, fretting, worrying, they are, in some respects, imaging they are victims of circumstances.
Here’s an idea: every time you feel one of those ‘negative’ emotions use it as an indicator that there is something inyou which is ripe for healing, resolving, or letting go of. There are many techniques and processes for inner change available. Pick one and, following the lead of your upset emotions, use it to change your inner landscape. When you do you will notice how your reaction to the outer condition is different and better.
Norman Vincent Peale reminded us, “Change your thoughts and you change the world.”
It just may be that the condition in the outer world is there to assist you in noticing what is ready for change in your inner world.
Well, the past nearly two years have been all about change for me…. how are you doing?
Nope, “ain’t” gonna change the coffee thing….. off to find some.
